Since our earliest ancestors lifted their gaze into the night skies, mankind has been plagued by the uncertainty of what lives in the dark, what kind of horrors hide in the woods, abandoned buildings and all nooks and crannies of our world.
Is there a reason behind all cultures sharing tales of ghosts, vampires, dragons and shapeshifters despite being far away from each other in both time and distance? Some say it's because these creatures, which ranged from benign to bringers of doom, all are relicts from a long-gone age, a primal fear instilled by our tree-dwelling ancestors and engraved into our collective memories as they huddled in fear of what every night brought.
Some others, however, suspect that despite our technological advancements, domain over the elements and how fast we spread across the lands in our steel and glass dwellings; there still might be horrors and monsters skulking beyond the reach of our cameras, microphones and lights.
This blog seeks to act as a compendium of those strange beings that might or not exist. And perhaps, as you will find out, they might be closer than you'd imagine. Or want them to be.
We hope you enjoy the trip.
